Soror Aureola

Hello, I'm very happy to share my latest work, Soror Aureola.

I stumbled upon this beautiful character a couple of years back and fell in love with it, and it kept haunting me, i kept remembering it and finally i mustered up the courage to make a full character.
I loved its orthodox theme, the posture, and mystery of the golden mask, its like a Christian Sigmar Sister of battle, i felt she might be a bit of a zealot.
The description is as follows:
"Its description is as follows ,,Not many people know anything about the Sisters of the Golden Mask.
No one sees their skin or hears their voice.
Some say they cover their faces to hide the horror on their faces.
Some say that their faces are a reflection of God and that no mortal is worthy of beholding it.
No one knows, everyone is talking, but the sisters remain silent and if you pay attention you will be able to hear the evil tremble as they approach.,,"
With this project, I feel like I bit more than I can chew, there was a lot of new stuff that I bumped my head in :), a lot of new sculpting techniques, material studies, working with udims, working with faces, new rendering techniques, optimization and working after work hours I always felt like I'm running against the clock until I am tired for the day and need to shut down.
I'm happy with how it turned out and I did manage to learn a lot of new stuff, i hope you like it.
